Jill B Bruce is an Australian author who has written over 45 non-fiction books about Australia, mostly for children. Some are information books, such as Flags and Emblems of Australia and Prime Ministers of Australia, but others are interactive fun books. These include Austranimals and Mixed up Monsters. Jill has also written two video scripts and eight blackline master books to help teachers plan their lessons.

Flags and Emblems of Australia is number 15 in the top 100 most stocked books in Australian libraries.

Just recently Jill was voted by the members of the Children’s Book Council of NSW as the 2012 and 2013 Children’s Book Awards judge. It is a huge honour.
